The Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, (IDFP) says the level of insecurity on the farms, homes and other property in some local government areas in Southern Kaduna has pushed up the rate of internally displaced persons.
IDFP co-chairman, Kunle Sanni, at a press briefing in Abuja Thursday, also said shortage of food productions, coupled with health-related challenges, had hit the vulnerable young girls and women in the affected communities.
He appealed to the federal government, the Kaduna State Government and other stakeholders end the security challenges in the area.
Violent conflicts had recently led to killings in Southern Kaduna.
