The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday quizzed one Mrs Ifeoma Nwobodo the chief of staff (COS) to former governor of Enugu state Sullivan Chime.
Daily Trust gathered that her interrogation is a precursor to the interrogation of her former principal.
According to sources, Mrs Nwobodo was being quizzed by operatives of the EFCC at the head offices of anti graft agency as at press time.
She was said to have arrived the EFCC headquarters around 9.30 am on July 30, 2015 and was immediately taken to the interrogation room where she was interrogated on money laundering charges, conspiracy and misappropriation of public funds.
It was also gathered that the EFCC has been flooded with petitions accusing Chime of graft during his eight-year rule of Enugu State as governor from 2007 to 2015.
When contacted yesterday the spokesperson of the EFCC, confirmed that the former COS to ex-governor Sullivan was being interrogated by operatives of the agency.
