Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has appointed national chairman of Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, as the state’s Amirul Hajj for this year’s exercise.
Sheikh Jingir’s appointment which was announced in a statement yesterday signed by the governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs, Samuel Emmanuel Nanle, called on all intending pilgrims who had completed their payments to appear for screening before the 2015 hajj committee at the commission.
The statement explained that the screening exercise would commence on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00am. The statement assured all intending pilgrims from the state of proper arrangements to ensure their comfort both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
