A PDP women leader in Sokoto State, Hajiya Rabi Amadu Giyawa, yesterday condemned what she described as undue harassment of PDP members by security operatives across the country without recourse to due process.
According to her, such would not augur well for the democratic process ,urging President Buhari to call them to order.
“As a citizen of Sokoto, I am in pains and at a loss on why the SSS decided to humiliate Dasuki just two days after leaving office, despite serving Nigeria diligently. The invasion of his father’s residence by security operatives is unfortunate and I condemn such action in its totality”, she said.
The women leader stressed that Buhari should focus on meeting the yearnings of Nigerians and shun political vendetta against perceived opponents.
Speaking on the economy, she lamented the rising cost of goods in the country and depreciation of the naira in the foreign exchange market.
The prevailing situation, she noted, is causing serious hardship for the masses.
