When contacted, the Brigade Commander of the 28 Task Force Brigade, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu confirmed the arrest but declined further comment, saying the army headquarters in Abuja should be contacted for details.
“Yes we have made an arrest. We are still doing some profiling now. If you want any information, you should contact our headquarters in Abuja,” he said.
Efforts to obtain comment from the army headquarters yesterday failed.
