… APC chieftain urges fairness

As preparations for tomorrow’s  governorship election in Bayelsa state are in top gear,  a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr Segun Osinkolu, has advised the INEC to be neutral during the exercise.
Osinkolu also urged security agencies that will monitor the poll to keep eye on all the INEC staff, to avoid any manipulation as witnessed in the last governorship elections in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states as declared by the election tribunals in those states.
Osinkolu said alleged complicity of INEC staff to rig election in the two states constitutes a great threat to the growth of democracy and national peace.
