A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state, Chief Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo , has raised alarm over security threats in Bassambiri community, in Nembe local government area.
Chief Degi-Eremienyo, who is the immediate past Executive Director of Administration and Human Resources of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), alleged that the spate of violence in the area was being perpetrated by some members of People Democratic Party (PDP).
In an interview, the former FERMA director described as unfortunate, the several attempts by the PDP to disrupt the APC gubernatorial campaigns in Nembe Bassambiri.
