The Managing Director of the Unity Bank resigned his appointment yesterday, as the board concluded plans to reposition the institution for further growth, an official told Daily Trust.
The former MD, Henry James Semenitari, will be replaced by “someone from within who meets all the CBN requirements,” the bank official who asked not to be named said.
Daily Trust reported recently that the former CEO was forced to go on leave to pave a way for the board to verify some allegations against him over his expensive lifestyle.
