‘Don’t slaughter cows outside abattoir’

Butchers who slaughter cows outside the Afor Ogbe Abattoir have been told to desist from the act or face the wrath of the law.
The Divisional Police Officer, Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Superintendent of Police (SP), Danjuma Ragga, gave the warning while monitoring the monthly clean up exercise in the area.
He cautioned those selling chickens at open spaces in the market meant for parking vehicles to move into the market at the location designated for them to reduce traffic congestion and avert accidents.
The DPO commended the people of Nnarambia Ahiara and Umunnanwiri Umuezuo Umuokrika for participating fully in the sanitation and urged them not to relent.
