Expect another flooding in Imo – NEMA warns

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has warned of another incident of flooding in Imo State this year.
The coordinator of the agency, Owerri Operations, Dr. Innocent Ezeaku, disclosed this yesterday during their sensitization program at Osee Motto autonomous community in Oguta LGA.
He said that the prediction follows the release of water from Lagdo Dam and the intention of the Federal Government to release excess water from Shiroro and Kainji dams.
