Blogger offers scholarship to aspiring writers

Build Your Own Blog invites submissions to the Build Your Own Blog New Writer Scholarship 2016 for an award of N796, 000 (US$4, 000). Unpublished writers are expected to submit short stories, poems, blog posts, and any other written material that has not been previously published in a book. 
Entries are open to writers around the world, but submissions should be written in English.
The scholarship was established to support talented new writers. The deadline is 29 November.
The scholarship is the brain child of Matthew Loomis, who has been a blogger, copywriter and ghost-writer for more than 10 years.
