The Director Field Operations, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential Campaign Council, Malam Nuhu Ribadu has won his polling unit.
The APC governorship candidate, Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla polled 302 votes to defeat his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Ahmadu Fintiri who got 163 votes.
While casting his vote at 011 Polling Unit in Bakko Ward, Yola South Local Government Area, Ribadu expressed satisfaction with the process.

He commended voters and election officials for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the exercise, calling on all stakeholders to maintain the spirit.
Ribadu had contested for governorship ticket under the APC and lost to the incumbent governor in controversial circumstances
