52 students from the Nigerian Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) recently participated in the Online International Math Challenge.
The challenge was organized by Pan-Asia International School, Thailand, where students were expected to solve 40 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes.
It was an opportunity for students to win up to 1 million U.S. dollars’ worth of scholarships in notable universities around the world.
The event is hoped to motivate students to see math in a different light, have their interest stimulated in the subject, and think about how they can apply math in their future studies and daily life.
