The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund says it has so far settled over 11,000 claims in 2021.
Chairman, NSITF Management Board, Austin Enajemo-Isire, disclosed this in Abuja weekend while briefing newsmen on the repositioning move of the agency.

He said the NSITF financial account, which was in arrears of over seven years, had been audited, with 2019 and 2020 currently under process and auditing.
He said the NSITF continued to maintain presence in 11 regions and 56 branches across the nation to ensure easy accessibility by all employees and employers.
He urged employers of labour, both in the private and public sectors, yet to key into the scheme, to do so. NSITF Managing Director, Mike Akabodu, said the agency disbursed N529.9m to claimants between June and November this year.
