NSCDC raises alarm over illegal private guard firms

The Plateau State Commandant, Mr Desmond C. Agu, made the call while holding a meeting with the private guards companies operating in the state.

He said the call became necessary because of reports on existing illegal private guard firms adding that any security firm not operating under the rules and regulations of the NSCDC should not be patronised.

He called on all security firms in the state yet to be registered by the NSCDC do so.

In his remarks, the state’s chairman of the private guard companies, Chief Edinen Usoroh, assured that the association will ensure that all private guard security companies comply with the rules and regulations of the NSCDC.
