He said Majiya was engaged in banditry and confessed to having killed many people while Danlabbo was said to have strong links with a high profile politician who introduced him to the nefarious activity.

The suspects were alleged to have been involved in high profile kidnappings, banditry, cattle rustling and murder in villages of Sokoto and Zamfara states.

Dada said an investigation was progressing as the politician alleged to be a support post for Danlabbo would also be invited for questioning. The commandant also paraded one Sani Ibrahim, 35, who allegedly engaged in sodomising children of Qur’anic Almajiri schools.

Dada said Ibrahim was accused of sodomising 12 children. Three of the children were seen at the NSCDC office assisting in the investigation. (NAN)
