NSCDC parades 30-yr- old cable vandal in Kogi

The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has paraded a 30-year-old man, Yomi Sunday, alleged to have been vandalising armor cable in Mopa Muro LGA of the state.

The state commandant of the NSCDC, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi, paraded the suspect in Lokoja on Wednesday at the command’s headquarters.

He said the culprit was arrested by the vigilante group and handed over to the corps in Mopa.

Explaining further, the commandant said the action of the suspect had regrettably put  seven communities in Kogi West, including Aiyeteju – Mopa, Amuro, Agbajogun – Lodo, and others from  the national grid.

The suspect was paraded with eight wrapped bundles of the cables, packed  for easy transportation to his desired prospective buyers.
