Two officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were recently killed in Zamfara State.
In a statement, NSCDC’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Olusola Odumosu, said the officials were attacked and killed in Shinkafi.
He said the Commandant General of the Corps, Dr Ahmed Audi, has condemned the attack.
“The CG condemned the deadly attack on security operatives, innocent citizens and critical national assets and infrastructure.”
“He described as unfortunate the attack on operatives deployed to checkmate the rising wave of banditry, kidnapping and other heinous crimes in the state,” the statement read.
