NSCDC nabs 2 over alleged vandalism of telecom mast

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bayelsa Command has arrested two people during an attempt to vandalize a telecommunications mast in Yenagoa, the state capital.

The state Commandant, Mrs. Christiana Abiakam-Omanu, disclosed this in Yenagoa while speaking with newsmen yesterday.

She said that the successful operation was as a result of the command’s commitment to protection of lives and property in the state.

Abiakam-Omanu added that the NSCDC had a strategic plan to ensure a crime free Christmas and New Year celebrations by deploying its officers and men across the state.
