NSCDC discovers mini petrol black market depot, arrest 3 in Kaduna

 The Kaduna state command of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Sunday discovered a mini fuel black market depot close to NNPC mega station in Kaduna state.

The depot is located at Mando road in Igabi local government area of the state while it arrested three people including the station supervisor and two other suspects.

The state commandant of the corps, Alhaji Modu Bunu told newsmen that the command which acted on intelligence report on activities of black marketers operating in the station made arrest of some suspects and products stocked in jerry cans, drums and tanks.

Some of the items recovered according to him include: nine 50litres jerry can of PMS, nine 200litres drums of PMS; one 100 litres drum of PMS, seven 70litres of PMS, 13 empty generator tanks ,18 empty motor cycle tanks, nine vehicles, and seven motorcycles among others.

The supervisor of the NNPC mega filling station was arrested for questioning alongside two other suspects while others took to their heels.
