The Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 1,000 personnel to provide adequate security to members of the public during the Eid el-Kabir celebration.

The Ekiti State NSCDC Commandant, Mr John Fayemi, said officers and men of the command had been deployed to Eid grounds, mosques, recreational centres and others to protect lives and property during the festivities.
