Yobe State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said its personnel deployed to communities liberated from insurgents to restore civil authority, have begun full operation.
The state commander, NSCDC, Dr. Muhammad Fari, disclosed on Saturday after 12-day tour across the 17 local government areas of the state. He said the men deployed in the areas were working in collaboration with other security operatives to give the returnees sense of security and belonging.
“Our working cooperation with other security operatives in the state is highly commendable, we see ourselves as partners in complimenting one another,” he said
