The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assured its personnel of adequate welfare.
The Commandant of the Corps in the state, Agboola-Adisa Sunday gave the assurance in Osogbo at a workshop with the theme “Secure Your Future Now” organised for the new intakes.
He said the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi prioritised the welfare of the personnel of the Corps and charged them to reciprocate by performing their duties efficiently.
He noted that the prioritisation of welfare of the personnel led to the establishment of a Cooperative Investment and Credit Society to encourage the saving habit, provide access to affordable loan facilities and easy procurement of commodities.
The President, NSCDC CICS, Ogundoyin Ayodeji charged the new intakes to be prudent and disciplined, warning them to avoid any act that may cause financial embarrassment to the corps.
