NSCDC arrests 2 vandals in Kano

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended two suspects for armed robbery, theft, and vandalism of armoured cables and three units of battery.

The command, under the leadership of Mohammed Lawal Falala, said the items belonged to the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO).

The command’s spokesman, Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, said the arrest was made at the KEDCO distribution substation on Briscoe-Independence road in Nassarawa LGA.

He explained that, “The suspects are Anas Shamsu (26) of Kumbotso LGA and Nasiru Muhammad (25) of Tamburawa Yamma, Dawakin Kudu LGA.”
