He said “The government is doing its best to develop the sport but it cannot do it alone given its enormous responsibilities. Buga Win has come to our rescue. Buga Win is out to empower Nigerian youths.”

The partnership, he said, would stimulate the growth of rugby in Nigeria with a long term projection of setting up an academy and developing grassroots rugby.

Also speaking, Managing Director of Buga Win, Otunba Charles Fanimoyo said the partnership was to stimulate the growth of Rugby in Nigeria.

“This partnership affords us the opportunity to close the gap of funding of some sporting activities in Nigeria. We have realised that sports need extra push from corporate organisations.

“This robust relationship will drive the development of rugby for grassroots mobilization through provision of equipment for schools to take part in rugby football,” said Fanimoyo.
