One of Nigeria’s oldest clubs, 3SC have drawn their two matches against Nasarawa United and Plateau United, same with Akwa United who drew 0-0 with Lobi Stars and 1-1 with Abia Warriors at home.

On their part, Nasarawa United opened their campaign at home with a 1-1 draw against 3SC, they earned a point on the road at Niger Tornadoes where it ended 0-0 draw but fell 3-4 to El-Kanemi Warriors at home.

Abia Warriors who lost their opening match at home to Remo Stars have drawn two matches against Akwa United and Sunshine Stars, Bendel Insurance drew 0-0 at home with Rivers United and lost 2-1 at Katsina United while Kwara United who had their week 2 fixture with El-Kanemi Warriors postponed, started their campaign with a 1-2 loss at home to Niger Tornadoes and were held to a barren draw in Ilorin by new boys Ikorodu City.

Lobi Stars who are playing under a new management began with a goalless draw against Akwa United, lost 0-1 to Rivers United at home and were edged 2-1 by Enyimba in their rescheduled week 2 match played on Wednesday in Aba.

The two losses suffered by Lobi Stars have landed them in relegation waters as they are presently in 17th position with one point from a possible nine.

18th placed Bayelsa United also lost their first match of the season to Sunshine Stars who hammered them 3-0 in Akure, and when they returned home, they could only force Kano Pillars to a 1-1 draw.

Heartland and Ikorodu City in 19th and 20th position respectively have identical results having drawn one and lost two matches each.

However, week 5 matches which will be held this weekend on Saturday and Sunday are opportunities for the clubs to taste victory.
