The forum of Nigeria Professional Football League Secretaries is to honour prominent Nigerians for their contributions to football in the country.
According to the forum, the awards would be presented to the awardees during its Annual General Meeting holding between 6-8 April in Aba.

Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu (Abia), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) will be honoured.
Others are Sports Minister, Sunday Dare, NFF president Amaju Pinnick, NFF General Secretary, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed, LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko and LMC Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the forum and Enyimba Scribe, Chibuzo Nwogu indicated that other activities lined up ahead of the AGM include holistic discourse on the state of affairs of Nigerian clubs in the domestic and continental league.
Furthermore, there will be a novelty match between club secretaries with officials of Abia Warriors and Enyimba on Wednesday April 7 at the Enyimba stadium..
The Forum is designed for the secretaries of various clubs in the top-flight with the major aim of helping further to galvanise the growth of club football at various elite teams.
