NPA acquires two boats for refinery operation

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Wednesday disclosed that it has acquired two units of 80 Bollard Pull Tugs to support operations at Dangote Refinery ahead of the commencement of operations in December 2023.

It said the tug boats will also support operations at the Pinnacle Oil.

Barring any last minute change in plans, the 650,000 barrel-per-day Dangote refinery is expected to commence operations with up to six cargoes of crude oil to be supplied by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) next month. The supply will facilitate the refinery test runs.
