Nothing wrong in bringing Fani-Kayode to APC- Youth group

Fani-Kayode had recently met with the National Chairman of the APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State

A youth group under the auspices of GYB2PYB has hailed steps by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC)’s Mobilisation & Sensitisation Committee and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to bring a former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode and a chieftain of the PDP to the party.

Fani-Kayode had recently met with the National Chairman of the APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

Reacting, the Director General, GYB2PYB Youth Support Group, Amb Oladele John Nihi, said having Fani-Kayode in the party is a plus.

He said: “The desire to achieving a new Nigeria is a collective efforts; as a Yoruba adage would have it that ‘a tree does not make a forest’.

“And for a sea to guarantee smooth sailing, proper dredging is required.

“The APC has shown to Nigerians both home and abroad that there is room for everyone willing to contribute meaningfully to the development of our dear nation.

“As the Party’s mobiliser; Governor Yahaya Bello has shown great capacity in a short period of time that the confidence imposed on him by the party is worthwhile. Truly a leader of our generation is here.”

The group said the party’s leadership had demonstrated to the world how ‘Progressive’ APC truly is.

“Having the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode in the APC is not only a plus, but a vivid demonstration of true commitment of the party’s leadership that the APC is home for all,” he added.
