A Northern group under the auspice of Arewa Youth for Good Governance (AYGS), Wednesday, cautioned politicians against instigating youths in the region to cause violence ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The group also urged youths not to allow any political party or politician to incite them against each other for political gain.

National chairman of the group, Alhaji Dantani Dio, made the appeal at a news briefing in Kaduna while reacting to the recent alarm raised by the Department of State Services (DSS) over a plan by some unpatriotic elements to use the youth to cause religious and ethnic crises in the country.
“Our youths should not allow themselves to be used by politicians or any political party to cause violence. My appeal to the politicians too is for them to stop using youths to cause problems by giving them drugs,” he said.
