The AYID Foundation has launched an Agric Innovation Grant Competition for youths in the North.
Speaking during the competition launch, the founder, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Doro, said it is the first-of-its-kind competition in the region focused on promoting a sustainable farming zone using innovative techniques.

The grant application will open from Saturday July 10, 2021 and continues till August 25, 2021.
“It is ensuring that new models of farming and agricultural production are evolved by bringing new approaches to the ways food is grown and distributed,” he said.
A partner on the project and the CEO of Yes-Hub, Mr Ismail Bello, said, “This competition will present an opportunity for Northern Nigeria young farmers, developers, innovators, students, entrepreneurs, job seekers and corp members to deliver solutions on innovative strategies that can engender sustainable growth and development in the agricultural sector and by extension the economy of the Northern Nigeria.”
