The youth wing of the National Progressive Hub yesterday called on the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to consider the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, for a national assignment given his role in the recently concluded general elections.
The leader of the group, Hon. Tukura Kwayi, made the call in a statement in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, yesterday.
“We wish to call on the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to prioritise merit and competence above other considerations for the success of his administration.
“In light of the above, Governor Nyesom Wike should be invited to play a central role in the coming administration considering his strategic efforts at ensuring the victory of the president-elect.
