Northern Christian youths laud Tinubu for reviving forest guards

The Northern Christian Youth Professionals (NCYP) has applauded President Bola Tinubu for fulfilling one of his campaign promises of revitalizing the forest guards as a strategic measure towards securing the country’s forests from violent groups.

Isaac Abrak, Chairman of NCYP, told journalists in Abuja yesterday that the president has demonstrated his commitment to lead by compassion, especially in the face of the recent surge in insecurity across the country.

He said following the tragic loss of over 200 lives in a gunmen attack in Plateau State, the kidnapping incidents along the Kaduna-Abuja highway, and various other security challenges in different parts of the nation, the “president’s resolute stance was unmistakably conveyed during the meeting with governors last Friday, where he reassured the nation of his dedication to restoring peace and security.”
