North East and the restoration of peace

It was in 2015, that Muhammadu Buhari emerged and became the president of Nigeria with an ideology of transforming the level of development, reshaping the economic sector, to work betterment of security and education in the country. 

He started showing unprecedented potentiality in the office by looking after the insecurity issues through an initiative from the military commands, and it was witnessed how the military captures the Boko Haram terrorists and used strategic planning to destroy their hideouts, taking away some local communities which remain under the authority of the terrorists for a quiet long time. 

However, President Muhammadu Buhari came into power when people, especially, the ones in the Northeast region were battling to survive insecurity, he reconsidered their conditions and technically works to empower the region and pursuit the terrorists away from the region. Several successful operations were recorded and until now the process of carrying out operations continues. Borno State was an epicentre of Boko Haram terrorism, the state faces unexplainable destruction, and thousands of people died while others fled from their lands of origin.

But, after the coming of President Muhammadu Buhari, he stand for the state and encountered the terrorists with manpower, by purchasing war jets, injecting billions of naira in security units to keep the military courageous in chasing out the terrorists, he also provides funds for rebuilding the state where the Boko Haram terrorists destroyed during their powerful time.

This is commendable, the president focuses on defence service to protect the people of the country at large. He, in addition, did what is unforgettable because the reigns of Boko Haram terrorism had crippled the country’s development and made the Northeast a cave of war and away from comfort.

Though a few groups of terrorists refused to surrender and are carrying out attacks across the sectional area commands in the Northeast region according to many sources, 90% were eliminated while others surrendered from the unlawful acts. He, president Muhammadu Buhari commissioned various construction projects to make the lives of those people better.
