Nollywood mourns Zulu Adigwe

Veteran Nollywood actor Zulu Adigwe has passed away. He gained fame for his role as Mr. B in Ken Saro-Wiwa’s 1987 soap opera ‘Basi and Company’.

Adigwe died on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with the news confirmed by film producer Stanley Nwoko on Instagram. However, Adigwe’s cause of death remains undisclosed.

“I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, the late Mr. Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace, good actor,” Nwoko wrote in his post.

Adigwe’s recent role as Pascal Nworie in Ramsey Nouah’s ‘Living in Bondage’ remake showcased his enduring talent. Throughout his great career, he graced the screen in numerous Nollywood productions, including ‘Blood of the Orphan’, ‘Blood Diamonds’, ‘Face of a Liar’, ‘Unforgettable’, ‘Issakaba’, and ‘Forbidden Land’.
