Nollywood comedian, Sisi Quadri, dies at 44

A famous Yoruba Nollywood comedian, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, well known as Sisi Quadri, is dead.

Sisi Quadri was featured in “Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre,” which was released on Netflix on Friday (today).

The death of Oyebamiji, who celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023, was announced by sone of his colleagues on Instagram on Friday.

One of them, Tunde Yusuf, posted Sisi Quadri’s picture on Instagram alongside a mournful note.

“Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come and unto Him, we shall return. May God bless, rest your soul, bro,” he wrote.

“You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace,” Nollywood actress, Abiola Bayo, also wrote.

Regina Chukwu shared her memories with the late actor, saying he had been fighting for his life for some time.

“Most people don’t know but yes, I trained under him as a make-up artist on set for years,” she added.
