Enyimba goalkeeper, John Noble, has expressed his joy at being the only player from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) playing for the Super Eagles in the tournament.
The shot-stopper said he is glad to represent NPFL and he will represent the league well.
“It’s amazing to represent the league. If given the opportunity, I will represent the league well as they are looking up to me,’ he said.
Speaking further, he praised his penalty saving skills as one of his best assets as a goalkeeper.
“When it comes to penalties, I have always been good in that aspect in my entire career. That has been my best asset. In the last CAF Confederations, I saved two penalties and scored one. For me, I can boldly say I’m good in that area,” he said.
Noble also said though he misses playing in the league, he is more than happy representing Nigeria in the Africa flagship football tournament.
“I miss Enyimba as I still follow the league but I’m here on national duties and I feel at home here,” he noted.
