NOA seeks MDAs support in showcasing FG’s programmes

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDA) to take advantage of its messaging platforms in showcasing government’s policies and programmes.

The Director General of the agency, Garba Abari stated this on Tuesday in Abuja during a roundtable on local content policy organised by his agency with the theme: “Benefits and Prospects: The Down Stream Regulatory Perspective.”

He said the mandate of the NOA include communicating and mobilising support for government policy, programmes and activities as well as promoting Nigeria’s core values.

He said lack of knowledge of government policies, programmes and opportunities contribute to the sense of despair by the masses pertaining government’s productivity.

“NOA is in dire need of intensifying the take-off of collaborations of MDAs to showcase government policies, programmes and opportunities. Hence, we are calling on MDAs to scale up collaboration and support to showcase government policies as our messaging platforms are very effective” he said.
