No voter will be disenfranchised, FCT minister assures

The Minister of State for the FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has assured residents of the territory that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will not deprive anybody of exercising their franchise during the February 25, 2023, general elections.

Aliyu, who spoke during the inauguration of the FCT Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on Saturday, urged the executives and members of the campaign council to ensure that they educated voters across the six area councils of the FCT.

She assured that no voter would be deprived of their franchise because the government of the FCT was resolute to protect voters at the polling units.

Earlier, the FCT Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Abdulmalik, called on residents to support and vote for all APC candidates in the February 25, 2023, general elections.
