Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, has denied any rift within its ranks, insisting that the party is intact in the state.
There was a speculation that the former governor of the state, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, had, during the stakeholders meeting of the party on Monday, accused some loyalists of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of trying to edge out his supporters ahead of the forthcoming local government and state congresses of the party.
Speaking to Daily Trust, the state party chairman said there was no rift whatsoever between Governor Tambuwal and his predecessor.
Milgoma said the party was still intact and devoid of any internal wrangling.
