No going back on “Occupy Ogun” protest, Labour tells Amosun

Nigeria Labour Congress says it will not go back on proposed plans to protest unpaid entitlement of workers in Ogun.

Labour president Ayuba Wabba insisted at a briefing in Abeokuta that the strike tagged “Operation Occupy Ogun State” will go on as planned on Tuesday.

“Nobody has monopoly of threats,” he said at a briefing at Labour’s secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun had threatened Labour leaders to steer clear of Ogun amidst the planned protest.
