“There is no recruitment by the commission until a waiver is granted by the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.”
She said that lngawa’s immediate commitment after his appointment was to discharge the constitutional mandates given to the commission on the core values of the Civil Service of the nation.
She said the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation in a letter dated May 15, 2020 announced the suspension due to COVID-19 on revenue projections of the federal government.
She however said that before the suspension orders, the FCSC under Ingawa recruited 2,419 officers for different MDAs on GL7-GL17 within the year 2019 following President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval.
