NNPP sacks Kaduna chair, legal adviser over anti-party activities

The Kaduna State Chairman and the Legal Adviser of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ben Kure and Ibrahim Ahmed respectively, have been sacked following a vote of no confidence passed on them by the State Working Committee (SWC).

The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Colonel Albehu Dauda Gora (Rtd), in a statement issued Tuesday, said both Kure and Ahmed breached the provisions of Article 31:1 of the NNPP constitution and Section 82 (1) (3) (5)&83(1) of the Electoral Act, 2022.

He said Kure had since been replaced by the party’s former state caretaker Chairman, Nuhu Audu, who was until his appointment the interim Chairman of Sanga LGA.
