The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State has raised N511 million to support the party’s presidential and gubernatorial candidates’ campaigns.
The NNPP gubernatorial candidate in Kano, Abba Yusuf, said the overwhelming support he enjoyed is a confirmation that the state’s residents were in need of new leadership at state and federal levels.
He reassured his commitment to championing an inclusive leadership where every resident of Kano State would enjoy the dividends of democracy.
The fundraising was held Sunday night in Kano and attended by party stakeholders, supporters, associates and the business community in the state.

The NNPP’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, said with the unflinching drive and spirit of the party’s members across the nation, the opposition believed that NNPP is now at the forefront in the political arena.
He said voting for the NNPP was the only solution to the country’s predicament.
