The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas company has donated medical equipment worth N180 million to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Yola and the Adamawa Primary Health Care Agency.
Presenting the equipment on Thursday, the NLNG General Manager for External Relations, Mrs Eyono Fatai-Williams said the company had made similar interventions in various hospitals in the South South and Lagos to help improve healthcare delivery to Nigerians.

“In our fight against COVID-19, we have intervened in this state to the tune of five hundred thousand dollars to the FMC and to Adamawa State combined,” she stated.
“We have donated various kinds of equipment.
“This is our gesture and contribution to fighting this virus through the NNPC led oil industry fund”.
In his remark, the FMC Yola Medical Director, Professor Awwal Abubakar, expressed appreciation for the gesture, saying the donated equipment would improve the capacity of the center in terms of training and service delivery.
