Those elected were Mr Bonny Chukwu of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital as Chairman, Mrs Ruth Bature of the National Library as Vice Chairman, and Mr Isa Shuaibu of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Abuja, as Secretary General.
Others were Patience Kasha of the National Library as Assistant Secretary General, Uzoechi Darlington as Financial Secretary, Musa Abdullahi of Education Resource Centre as Public Relations Officer, and Sanusi Shehu as Auditor.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Mr Bonny Chukwu, promised to improve the activities of the association, and to embark on a membership drive in order to make it more robust.
