The National Judicial Council (NJC) has approved the appointment of four Justices to the Supreme Court and other courts in the country.
The Justices are Justices Tijjani Abubakar (North East); Mohammed L. Garba (North West); Abdu Aboki (North West); and Mohammed Saulawa (North West).

According to a statement by the NJC’s Director of Information, Soji Oye, the appointments followed the second virtual meeting of the council presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, which held on August 11 and 12, 2020.
