Nissan Nigeria has put smiles on the faces of some Children of Motherless Babies Home and Vigilant Heart Orphanage in Lagos. The children were treated to a “fun day at the movies’ experience at a cinema in Lagos.

The two charitable homes were chosen by the automobile company for the children’s treat for rendering exemplary service towards providing care for orphans and abandoned and underprivileged children in Lagos. No fewer than 70 children from the charitable homes were taken along with their care givers to watch Dr. Dolittle and short movies on road safety norms during the event co-hosted with Silver Bird Theatre.

According to the management of Stallion Group, the event is one of the many activities that the company is committed to organize yearly in order to inculcate safe driving culture in the young minds.

Kiki Osinbajo, owner of the fashion power house Glam D Africa, and Seyi the popular TV Personality of Big Brother Naija fame, came out to cheer and support the children.

Sales Head for Nissan in Nigeria, Mr. Amit Sharma, said the brand seeks to contribute to sustainable social development and carry out social contribution activities as a corporate citizen focusing on education, environmental awareness and humanitarian relief.
