The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has expressed concern over insecurity in some parts of the country.
The organization of public relations practitioners and perception managers vowed to deploy the requisite PR tools to address the current problems.
President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Mukhtar Sirajo spoke at the 2018 annual conference of Directors and Heads of Public Relations themed, “The dynamics of story-telling for mutually beneficial advantages” held in Lagos at the weekend.
He decried the conflicts in Kaduna and promised to galvanize other relevant stakeholders for a summit to examine where the country got things wrong with a view to proffering solutions.
He said, “Every Nigerian has a bit to play in the quagmire that we have found ourselves. Luckily this is not going to be a new thing, we have thread that path before, we have lived in unity and loved without such disparities which are clogs in the wheel of our progress.
“So what we need to do is to ask ourselves where did we begin to lose it, then we can begin to re-trace our steps.
