President, National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku has called on the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun to strengthen the judiciary sector and redeem its integrity as well as the image of the country.
Speaking yesterday in Abuja during the inauguration of newly inducted Public Relations practitioners, he noted that the image of the sector was going down due to some wrong acts.
He also urged the newly inducted public relations practitioners to ensure they protect the image of their organisations as well as the nation.
Neliaku noted that though the country was facing lots of challenges as well as issues of bad leadership, he urged that the country’s image should be protected.

He also called on employers of labour to ensure they do not employ public relations practitioners who were part of the institute as that would be employing quacks who do not know how to handle the position professionally.
A new inductee who is the Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, Samuel Aleyicheni Idoko said he was grateful for the privilege to be inducted into the institute as it would help him handle his position more professionally.
He urged other spokesperson of various organisations to come and become members of the institute so as to help in shaping the image of the organisations and country effectively.
